Emmy Rossum is not one to constantly post bikini photos to her Instagram account. Therefore, when she does share swimsuit photos, it’s a treat for her fans.
The Shameless alum has posted bikini photos sparingly over the years, providing glimpses of an occasional tropical vacation or Fourth of July spent on the beach. Fans got to see a lot more of Emmy when she played the iconic Los Angeles billboard queen Angelyne in the Peacock miniseries, which premiered on May 19, 2022.

“I felt tremendously empowered in my body, in this hyperfeminine goddess form.” It’s obviously not my body,” Emmy told Yahoo Entertainment. “And in terms of recreating her billboard poses and the original archive footage that we do as well, it was very important to me to get it as authentically perfect as we could, because we’re also balancing this incredibly unconventional way of storytelling with hyper-fantasy elements as well.”
“I found it completely liberating to look in the mirror and not see myself at all,” the actress told The Hollywood Reporter regarding her transformation into Angelyne. “Initially, it’s unsettling. But feeling lost gives way to this genuine liberation— from myself and the obstacles that can hinder a performance.”
Emmy has been eating nutritiously to maintain her bikini body since she was a child, as she was raised on a macrobiotic diet and her family didn’t even own a saltshaker.
